BMEGSA hosts first 5K neon color run

Posted:

On Sunday, September 15, Biomedical Engineering Graduate Student Association (BMEGSA) hosted it's inaugural 5K neon color run and lunch social in support of raising funds for the future Biomedical and Materials Engineering Complex (BMEC). This event offered students, faculty, friends, and family the opportunity to enjoy a catered lunch. A welcome kickoff and hard-hat tour of the new BMEC facilities was given by Steve Crissinger, senior director of development, College of Engineering. BMEGSA successfully raised over $2000 during this event. Portions of the money raised will go to both BMEGSA and the BMEC building fund. BMEC is set to open in summer of 2020.

Thank you to everyone who was able to participate!
